Warming Shelter

The warming shelter is a place for the homeless to stay on cold winter nights.

Pilgrim has agreed to provide dinner to the FDL Warming Center residents on various dates. Please look for the poster in the narthex and sign up to prepare and bring an entrée, salad or side dish, fruit, dessert, and drinks. The poster gives details about what and how much to prepare.

The Christian Outreach Ministry thanks you for your generous support for this project.

The Warming Center shelters up to 17 homeless adults here in FDL every night. Those who stay there overnight also need these items: socks, quarters for doing laundry, baby wipes, gift cards to McDonald’s and Kwik Trip, and winter coats. If you can donate any of these things, please put them in the marked bin in the narthex.

--Bring the other items to Pilgrim’s kitchen or fridge on the designated date before 5:45 PM and label them for the Warming Center.
