Change for Change – Have you heard about the horrific drought and famine in southern Sudan and eastern Africa (see www.ucc.org/disaster/africa-drought/ ) Want to HELP? Then dig the change out of your pockets, jelly jars, and car console and bring it in to Pilgrim during October. The outreach ministry will have a jar in the church lobby (make checks payable to “Pilgrim UCC” The donations will be sent through our confrence office to Wider Church Ministries.

The 2011 CROP Walk was October 9th. Walkers had the choice of 6.8 miles or 1.8 mile option. Remembering that some people must walk this much everyday just for water. Click the banner above to visit the CROP WEB site.

Global Citizen Year – One of our members (Charlotte Benishek) is participating in this year long immersion project, serving in Senegal.
