Pilgrim United Church of Christ SCRIP Program WHAT IS SCRIPT? Script is gift cards for many business in town and across the country that you can purchase at church and Pilgrim receives a percentage of the cost of the card which varies by store. So, you buy a $25 gift card for Amazon.com, pay $25 and Pilgrim receives 4% or $1 – You pay nothing extra for the card. So you buy cards through Pilgrim for things you normally purchase and help the church at the same time. There are many business participating so chances are many you do business with are on the list. The table on the right has links to tools for participating. Most food stores and many gas stations in Fond du Lac are participating, download the PDF document to get the current listing which includes the percentage Pilgrim receives.
HOW TO PURCHASE THE SCRIPT Each Sunday there will be a table in the Narthex (by the office) where you can purchase common cards like grocery and fast food. Other cards you can order using the Pilgrim SCRIP order form at church or by downloading the PDF of the form here. The next Sunday the cards will be available. CAN I HELP? Yes you can, we need people to work the SCRIP table on Sunday mornings helping members and friends support Pilgrim by purchasing SCRIP. We have a coordinator for the program, however need more volunteers to make light work of the program. If you'd like to help please contact Pastor Ted or Linda.
