Fondy PRIDE Picnic
June 28, 2026 – New Venue

Hello Pilgrim family & friends!

It is Monday, June 15, 2026, and it is still difficult to stop smiling!

We want to thank everyone that attended the ONA update meeting on Sunday, June 14th.

The amount of feedback given was outstanding! SO many people spoke up!

The candor and vulnerability shared made one feel that they were witnessing the

Holy Spirit at work. Add to that – all the great suggestions offered – both at the meeting and afterwards……makes your ONA Team feel that the meeting was a huge success. We are hopeful that all those attending felt the same way.

Your ONA team will now spend time doing the final rework of our ONA covenant revision. We plan to present that revision to the Council for their approval at the August Council meeting. Our hope is to have the final draft in your hands by September. Of course, final VOTE will take place in February 2027 at our annual meeting. Stay tuned for more details later this summer.

We want to thank multiple people who stepped up to feed the Café Q youth on June 19th! Supplying Rocky Rococo pizzas were Judie Behnke and Sue Kaiser and providing a whole lot of water and soda, Chris and Bayard Frederick! Thanks to all!

Anyone interested in helping to provide a meal can do so here: (https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090F4CA4AF2AA4F58-60367587-2026/182850317#/).

Thanks in advance for your help.

We encourage everyone to spend some time on Sunday, June 28th at Fond du Lac’s Pride Picnic. The picnic is being held at the Fond du Lac County Prairie Theater and Event Center located at 400 University Dr, in Fond du Lac. Lots of good food, exhibits to see and learn from, and of course Pilgrim’s event booth will be set up and will offer a smile and a welcome when we see you.

Lastly, we offer you a video link (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=97yQ706E0i4)

of Rev. Brandan Robertson, who discusses the six biblical texts most often used

against LGBTQ+ people. Rev. Robertson is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, he is also the Founder and Executive Director of DevOUT, a nonprofit dedicated to countering far-right religious narratives and amplifying inclusive theological voices through media and education.

Meal signup for Cafe Q
Hello Pilgrim! I am sending out this gentle reminder to sign up for Cafe Q meals for November and December. You could also expand your meal search to other people you know. That also may help expand our group. Think of people who just like to help! I’d like to get Nov/Dec filled before I send out a 2026 calendar! Thanks for ALL you continue to do.
