A Thank You to Michael Friedel
Michael Friedel, our Child and Youth Coordinator, has decided to step down from his role at Pilgrim United Church of Christ to allow more time for his school job and continuing education.
Michael has faithfully served Pilgrim as our Sunday School Coordinator and Youth Coordinator since 2025. We are deeply grateful for the ministry he has shared with our children, youth, and families over the past year. Through his care, creativity, and commitment, Michael has helped nurture a welcoming and meaningful Christian Education program at Pilgrim.
We will have an opportunity to recognize and celebrate Michael and express our gratitude for his ministry during worship on Celebration Sunday, September 13, at 9:00 AM. We hope you will join us as we offer Michael our thanks and best wishes for his school work.
In the meantime, the Christian Education Ministry Team will provide oversight and leadership for our Christian Education programs this fall, with support from Rev. Jeffrey.
